Hart and Associates Designs (HAAD) is an Interior Architecture and Design firm, and Design 101 is a spin-off of HAAD. The intent of Design 101 is to address basic interior design principles, common interior design problems honestly, and sometimes via humor. In addition to sharing successful techniques and ideas, we will share with you the unsuccessful attempts. Additionally, we will share information regarding new products, techniques, etc. with our readers.

We approach each project with a fresh perspective and an informed eye; together with client input we establish the foundation of the design strategy. We believe ones surroundings should be a sanctuary from the world. HAAD understands the route to achieving this varies from project to project. Each client’s unique requirements are always taken into consideration. The correct proportions of color, lighting, architectural details, and furnishings are the building blocks that develop and define a space.
